ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) — A Disneyland worker died after she fell from a transferring golf cart within the backstage space of the Anaheim theme park, authorities mentioned Saturday.
The girl was recognized as Bonnye Mavis Lear of Fullerton, in response to Orange County coroner’s workplace.
Anaheim police Sgt. Jon McClintock mentioned authorities responded to the Disneyland Resort on Wednesday morning after a girl fell from a transferring golf cart and struck her head.
She was taken to the hospital and died on Friday of her accidents, McClintock mentioned in a press release.
Ken Potrock, president of the Disneyland Resort, expressed his condolences and mentioned the corporate was targeted on supporting her household and colleagues.
“We’re heartbroken by the lack of Bonnye, and provide our honest condolences to everybody who cared for her. At the moment, we’re targeted on supporting her household and our solid members by means of this tragic occasion and ensuring they’ve the assets they want.”
Lear was a Disneyland Resort solid member for twenty-four years, and most at the moment supported membership providers at Membership 33.
